Welcome back and thanks for listening! Today we ponder Paul’s list of the works of the flesh that are opposed to the fruits of the spirit in Galatians 5, and map them over into modern times. Idolatry, promiscuity, immorality, etc. are still opposed to the working of the spirit in our lives but they look different in today’s world than they did in Paul’s day. The common thread across time is that the works of the flesh prioritize our interests over the leading of the spirit and the outworking of God’s love.
